Questions Regarding Differences Between Basic & Premium Membership Subscriptions
As a Basic member can I make first contact to a Basic or Premium member's profile?
No, a basic member cannot initiate a first time contact to a profile if he/she is a basic member. A Basic
member, one must upgrade their membership to that of premium status to contact any profile that is
appealing to him/her.
As a Premium member can I contact any Basic or Premium member?
Yes, as a Premium member you can initiate contact by replying to any or all profiles that was
submitted by both Basic and Premium members. Additionally, both Basic and Premium members can read
and reply to your messages.
Do two members have to be Premium to exchange messages?
No, only one member has to be of Premium status. As a Premium member you begin the communication
process by being able to reply to any profiles from both Basic and Premium members. As stated before,
both Basic and Premium members can read and reply to your messages.
Do we rebill premium memberships?
No, we think this practice is unscrupulous and do not think this is a popular option in today's fast
paced, hectic society. You have enough to worry about without finding a way to stop payment on
a service you might not need anymore because you have found the guy/gal of your dreams.
I don't have a Credit Card. Can I still upgrade to a premium membership?
Yes, in addition to Credit Cards we also accept Online Checking thru Paypal for verified Paypal members
only. We also accept Money Orders and Checks thru the US POSTAL SERVICE. (see payment page for
further details on sending money orders/checks thru the US POSTAL SERVICE)
How does it show on my Credt Card or Bank statement?
Depending on which Online processor you choose your statement will show a charge from
"Singles of America" along with our phone number in case of any questions you might have.
As a reminder, We do not rebill !!!
How long does it take to go Premium once I upgrade?
Usually instantly if using a current major credit card. Very rarely, depending on the amount of
transactions being processed, it can take a bit longer. PLEASE NOTE -- **If paying by check online
or submitting your check by "snail mail" ** Your membership upgrade will be delayed approximately
3-5 business days until your funds have cleared our bank. Money orders received by snail mail will
be upgraded immediately upon receipt, depending on the speed of the US Postal Service, holidays, etc.
What do I do if I have a problem?
Contact us by clicking the 'Contact Us' link in the upper right corner of any webpage. You will receive
an e-mail response by a real person within 24 hours of receipt of your inquiry.
Can I get a refund after I upgrade to Premium?
Since we offer an unlimited Basic membership that allows you ample time to make a positive,
informed decision to upgrade to Premium status: We do not offer a refund once a Premium subscription
has been paid.
